Duties and Authorities of the Directorate of Research Affairs

Secretariat of the University’s Research Council and formulation and codification of its resolutions.

Reviewing research projects undertaken by faculty members in terms of quality and projected costs.

Preparing, organizing, and collecting statistics and information on completed and ongoing projects, and submitting them to relevant authorities.

Providing necessary equipment, facilities, and supplies for projects, in coordination with the relevant departments.

Handling all matters related to the conclusion of research contracts and taking action for their implementation.

Establishing communication with scientific, industrial, and economic hubs of the country to identify their research and educational project needs and specialized human resources.

Inviting researchers and scientists from various countries to participate in scientific research conferences and seminars at the university, in collaboration with relevant departments.

Reviewing and proposing the required budgets for research units in accordance with the established programs.
